Also, local, 'of Guildford,' or perhaps 'Guldeford,' diocese of Chichester. The name is quite common in parts of Summerset, about Kilmington, Stourton, and Brewham.Lawton Gilliver was Pope's bookseller, and it has been suggested that Swift had a grundge against him.
