This simple random last name generator is here to help you with selecting a last name for whatever purpose you have. The tool randomly picks names from all the surnames found in the year 2000 USA Census. It presents the last names just by themselves or in conjunction with a first name if such name is provided. For example, it could show "Smith" as a random last name if the user provides nothing in the "First Name" input field. Or it could randomly display something like "Andrew Johnson" if the "First Name" field is filled with the name "Andrew." Listing first and last names together is supposed to help you see if the first and last names 'agree' with each other.
The "Second Last Name" input field is to let you create double surnames, like "JohnPress" or "Richardson-Walsh." To use that feature, simply put "Press" or "-Walsh" in the "Second Last Name" input field and the specified name will be added as a second last name every time a last name is generated.
